Short, practical guides for people who play Wordle every day. MorningHint publishes the daily clues on the home page; these pages are the background that does not change from one puzzle to the next.
Today's clues, revealed one at a time with the answer kept behind a spoiler, are on the home page. Yesterday's puzzle in full, plus every past answer we hold, is on past Wordle answers.
The daily page is about one specific word and stops being useful at midnight. A guide is about the game itself and should still be true in a year, which is why the two live at separate addresses. If you arrived looking for a nudge on today's word, the daily page is the right one; if you keep losing on guess five, the answer is in here somewhere.
Every clue is derived from the answer itself — how many vowels it holds, whether a letter repeats, its first and last letter, its part of speech and its meaning — and the order runs from least to most revealing, so you can stop as soon as you are unstuck. The answer sits behind a final spoiler you have to open deliberately. Nothing on the page gives the word away before you ask for it, and every page is checked automatically before publication so an out-of-date or incorrect answer is never shown.
